Spring Fever is Setting In

Well at least for my family it is.  I just love living in Colorado and being buried under snow one week and the next enjoying next to 70 degree weather.  The best of both worlds.  With the weather becoming nicer the family is getting the itch to get outside more, unfortunately the fast melt also means giant mud puddles, so I will keep this short as I run to clean up the muddy paw prints off the carpet.

Lots of fun going on this week around town.  We are hosting ...

We decided to create a "cherry" tree as a way to honor the beautiful cherry blossoms in Washington.  Instead of cutting out cherry shapes, I thought we would try and make cherries using coins.  That way, we could talk about ...

Tuskegee Airmen

More than a town located in Alabama, Tuskegee is an idea and an ideal.  It is one of the most important African-American achievements in over 100 years!
