Then I cut a circle in a white paper plate and attached the red and white piece to the circle in the paper plate. We had to make slits in the bottom of the red and white piece so that we could tape it to the ...

It is Sunday afternoon and the kids are restless. What do you do? We know a place, the perfect location, in Old Town Arvada on Grandview Avenue called the D Note. Every Sunday the kids, from 1 month to 12 years old, come and enjoy music, both by listening to it, playing it and dancing to it. Parents relax at their tables, watching the kids dance and play together - great entertainment in and of itself. The children make new friends and greet some old ones. Some even make this a weekly gathering spot.

My boys love video games. When we got the Nintendo Wii several Christmas's ago I swore that would be the only game system we ever would buy. I figure if they had to work at playing then it could lessen my guilt of having them "plugged in" so often. Soon they all had Nintendo DSis and this year Santa brought us an XBox 360. I have discovered I am raising little gamers.
As the mom of three boys I have been coveting Just Dance and Dance Dance Revolution and ...
