How Is It March Already?


Can you believe it is March already?  I don't even remember February!  Time seems to be flying, Spring Break is only weeks away and soon after that summer vacation will be upon us!!  If things could slow down just a little, I would really appreciate it.  I guess maybe I should wait for that summer vacation to come before I ask for things to slow down though.

Have you ever heard the phrase, "Breastfeeding is Natural"? In reality, breastfeeding is a learned art. It can be tough with one baby, but two or more bring additional challenges.  Come and share your ideas, challenges and concerns with other mothers of multiples.  This group is facilitated our IBCLC lactation consultant, with many hours of her work dedicated to twins and beyond.  You don't have to do this all alone- parenting is a journey, come on in, because we CAN help make it easier for you! Our relaxed meeting environment will allow you to ask all of your breastfeeding and new mom questions. Bring your babies, (We have the nursing pillows and rocking chairs). Hope to see you soon!

Let the Babies Boogie!
It is Sunday afternoon and the kids are restless. What do you do? We know a place, the perfect location, in Old Town Arvada on Grandview Avenue called the D Note. Every Sunday the kids, from 1 month to 12 years old, come and enjoy music, both by listening to it, playing it and dancing to it. Parents relax at their tables, watching the kids dance and play together - great entertainment in and of itself. The children make new friends and greet some old ones. Some even make this a weekly gathering spot.

Baby Time is for babies up to 2 years, unless otherwise specified.
Toddlers are 2-3 years old.
Preschoolers are 4-6 years old.
Family Nights are for all ages.
Children under 4 years must be with an adult during storytime.

There are a lot of places in the metro area that have Kids Eat Free (or practically free) Nights!  Here is a list of ones that we know of, and we would love to hear about any that you know to add to our list!  Always call ahead to confirm that they are still having a Kid's Eat Free Night because restaurants can change these at any time.
