Summer Fun!
Summer has officially, officially begun!! It has been a beautiful week with sun shine and warm temperatures. Even the calendar officially agrees that summer has arrived. 4th of July Crafts - Safe Sparklers
Your child will love making these shiny sparklers. The best part: they won’t burn little hands and will never go out!
What you'll need:
12” wooden dowel
White acrylic craft paint
Gold glitter glue or paint
2 gold chenille stems
Gold foil-type garland
Scissors
White craft glue
How to make it:
- Paint the dowel with white paint and let dry.
- When paint is dry, add a coat of gold glitter glue or paint. Let dry.

Strawberry Bread

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 t baking powder
1/2 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
1/4 t ground coriander
1/4 t nutmeg
1 t ground cinnamon
2 eggs
1 t vanilla extract
6 T melted butter

It is Sunday afternoon and the kids are restless. What do you do? We know a place, the perfect location, in Old Town Arvada on Grandview Avenue called the D Note. Every Sunday the kids, from 1 month to 12 years old, come and enjoy music, both by listening to it, playing it and dancing to it. Parents relax at their tables, watching the kids dance and play together - great entertainment in and of itself. The children make new friends and greet some old ones. Some even make this a weekly gathering spot.
