Sunday, November 6 - The Littleton Museum and Town Hall Children’s Theatre announces a very special performance of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves!

The whimsical participation children’s production Snow White and the Seven Dwarves will play for one performance only.  The whole family will delight as they find themselves part of the show in a very special adaptation of this classic fairy tale. Our master storyteller will choose various willing audience members to come up on stage and play specific roles in this Snow White with a twist. We’ve got talking rabbits, a nervous mirror and a whole new set of dwarves, including Dirty Dwarf…peee-youuuu! No one gets left out of the act because everyone helps from their seats with sound effects gestures and songs.

Let the Babies Boogie!
It is Sunday afternoon and the kids are restless. What do you do? We know a place, the perfect location, in Old Town Arvada on Grandview Avenue called the D Note. Every Sunday the kids, from 1 month to 12 years old, come and enjoy music, both by listening to it, playing it and dancing to it. Parents relax at their tables, watching the kids dance and play together - great entertainment in and of itself. The children make new friends and greet some old ones. Some even make this a weekly gathering spot.

Thursday, November 10 - Raven Full Moon Hike

The darkness of night provides a unique backdrop for a hiking adventure. So leave those flashlights at home and hone your night vision as a park naturalist guides you along the trails of Lakewood’s Bear Creek Lake Park and surrounding green spaces. These hikes are designed for the whole family, but keep in mind each one will average an hour and a half of walking and observing. And don’t forget to dress appropriately and wear appropriate shoes for Colorado’s everchanging weather. No dogs please.

Saturday, November 12 through Sunday, November 13 - Augustana Arts presents Musica Sacra Chamber Orchestra “Fairy Tales, Games and Make-Believe”

Augustana Arts presents their annual family concert “Fairy Tales, Games and Make-Believe” directed by David Rutherford featuring the Musica Sacra Chamber Orchestra.  Children of all ages will be guided through Maurice Ravel's Mother Goose Suite, which features vivid musical depictions of scenes from well-known fairy tales like Sleeping Beauty, Tom Thumb and Beauty and the Beast. That will be followed by Children's Games. Finally, kids will get to make up their own stories for the music in William Walton's Music for Children. During and after the concert, the children will have an opportunity to see the instruments up close in our musical “petting zoo!
