It Is Almost Turkey Time
As usual I am in complete shock that Thanksgiving is next week. I am constantly amazed at how fast time is flying by and how big my kids are getting. I am definitely thankful for being blessed with my amazing boys and husband. What are you thankful for this season?

Thanksgiving Help Needed!
I have a quick last minute Thanksgiving donation request for Arapahoe House’s facility called Aspen. Aspen is a drug and alcohol rehab center (and safe house) specifically for pregnant women and new mothers. In order to stay at Aspen, women must be clean (and are tested on a daily basis) and so the women there are on a path of sobriety and a more promising life for their children.

It is Sunday afternoon and the kids are restless. What do you do? We know a place, the perfect location, in Old Town Arvada on Grandview Avenue called the D Note. Every Sunday the kids, from 1 month to 12 years old, come and enjoy music, both by listening to it, playing it and dancing to it. Parents relax at their tables, watching the kids dance and play together - great entertainment in and of itself. The children make new friends and greet some old ones. Some even make this a weekly gathering spot.
