Holiday Hoopla!

I am neck deep in holiday hoopla! School parties, family parties, shopping, visits with Santa, we are in holiday overload. I will keep this short because I have to get back to wrapping teacher presents and baking brunch dishes for tomorrows school holiday parties!
There are so many wonderful holiday events going on around town over the next week. If you know of one that we should be including in our calendar make sure you send me an email! We would love to include as many events as possible!

Cinnamon Ornament
Holiday Craft
This is so easy, so cute, and it makes the house smell amazing!
Cinnamon Ornaments
What you need:
- 3/4 cup applesauce
- 4 oz cinnamon (I found a bottle that was 3.88oz.)
- Rolling pin
- Cookie cutters
- Straw or toothpick
- String
Mix applesauce and cinnamon together
Kneed until it can be rolled out
Roll out
Cut with cookie cutters
Make a hole with a straw or toothpick
Put on rack until dry (1-2 days)

It is Sunday afternoon and the kids are restless. What do you do? We know a place, the perfect location, in Old Town Arvada on Grandview Avenue called the D Note. Every Sunday the kids, from 1 month to 12 years old, come and enjoy music, both by listening to it, playing it and dancing to it. Parents relax at their tables, watching the kids dance and play together - great entertainment in and of itself. The children make new friends and greet some old ones. Some even make this a weekly gathering spot.
