Cutest Valentine's Pipe Cleaner Ring

To create these adorable rings start out with 4 and a half pipe cleaners.  3 for the petals, one for the leaves and one half for the center.

Take the 3 for the petals and twist them twice in the center so they look like cat whiskers.

Then put them on the finger you will be wearing it on and loosely twist to make a ring.  Make this a little big because the rind will tighten after it's been made.

Separate the petals evenly.

Easy Valentine's Day Wreath


This craft is unbelievably easy, and a great project for kids to help with! Inspired by a wreath on Pinterest, we tweaked it to make it simpler and faster for busy Moms!

Supplies

Foam heart-shaped wreath, available at hobby stores

Ribbon (1 Spool of 1.5” ribbon and six to ten spools of different colors/patterns)

Kids will get an overview of the camera’s functions and operations, ensuring they know how to work with their camera. February will continue the fresh start with “Frame It” an understanding of how to compose and frame a picture. Students will build their understanding of photography from one class to the next, gaining confidence through repetition of how-to steps. Led by Stephen and Alexandria, these youth workshops teach kids to operate a camera, compose photographs, use light and shadow, look at shots from different angles, and consider color in their shots, to name just a few of the elements that make photography intriguing and fun.

Sunday, February 12 - Colorado Ballet presents From the Page to the Stage

Celebrate Fairytales & Fables month at the Children’s Museum of Denver with Colorado Ballet. Dancers will perform short excerpts from classic ballets like Cinderella, Romeo and Juliet and Peter Pan. Children will learn the fundamentals of ballet including how the stories were translated into dance, the use of pointe shoes and tutus, and men’s roles in dance.

After the performance, children will get to participate in an interactive dance exercise.

It is Sunday afternoon and the kids are restless. What do you do? We know a place, the perfect location, in Old Town Arvada on Grandview Avenue called the D Note. Every Sunday the kids, from 1 month to 12 years old, come and enjoy music, both by listening to it, playing it and dancing to it. Parents relax at their tables, watching the kids dance and play together - great entertainment in and of itself. The children make new friends and greet some old ones. Some even make this a weekly gathering spot.

Week 3 Of My Weightloss Journey

Week 2 was tough. The Super Bowl didn't make it easier. My son's birthday made it even harder. Turns out our family celebrates most events with food. Delicious, not good for you, food.
