- Last year's Super Bowl broke a new record as the most watched TV show in history. In fact, the last six Super Bowls are the six most watched TV shows ever. Before that, the final episode of M*A*S*H* (which had 105.9 millions viewers) had held the record since it aired in 1983!
- The Animal Planet will air its 12th Annual Puppy Bowl, for those who prefer retrievers over receivers.
