Jefferson County Schools Celebrate 'Day Without Hate'

When: Friday, April 29, 2016, from 6:00-8:30 p.m..

Where: Jeffco Stadium (click here for directions)

What: Get ready for a night filled with music, videos, inspirational speeches and activities built around the values of Day Without Hate – nonviolence, respect, and unity. The night will be capped off with a brilliant fireworks display.

Food: Some of Denver’s best food trucks will be outside the main gates from 6:00 - 7:00 pm. Kona Shaved Ice, Moe’s BBQ, Maui Wowi, Talarico’s, B & O Fro-yo, Cali Wrap, Gigi’s Cupcakes, and Devil Dog Grill will all be there.

Pre-show entertainment: Beginning at 6:00 pm, one of Colorado’s own HomeSlice will blast out hit after hit for the audience to dance along with.

Fireworks: To cap off the night, a fireworks display will inspire the crowd and send students back to their high schools ready to make a real difference in the buildings.

Cost: Admission is free to anyone wearing any official Day Without Hate t-shirt. Shirts will also be for sale at the gates for $5. The show is intended for a high school audience.
