Beat The Heat! Conifer's Elevation Celebration ~ July 30-31

July 27, 2016
Elevation Celebration sponsored by Sano Hospital for Animals is quickly approaching.  July 30th & 31st will be here before you know it. Here’s a sneak peek at this year’s festivities:

The 4th Annual Elevation Run presented by the Conifer Lobos Unified Boosters and Conifer Area Council has expanded to include a 10k option that includes a portion of Meyer Ranch Open Space.  The run is great opportunity to kick off the day and experience conifer’s Community Trail system.  Please note the run has a new start time of 7:30a.  Registration is open at www.clubchs.org/Elevation

Why have one when you can have two? This year’s Elevation Celebration boasts TWO stages with live local entertainment and TWO FunZones.  Our main stage will feature several of your favorite local acts as well as new talent you won’t want to miss.  Our second stage will be located in XtremeZone presented by Conifer Community Church and will feature singer songwriter acts competing for a musical grand prize. (Stay tuned for more information on this awesome new attraction!).  This year’s XtremeZone will also feature an 85’ long inflatable obstacle course and Pedal Carts (think goKarts with pedals on a fun inflatable track).  At the opposite end of Sutton Road you won’t want to miss the MacaroniKidZone featuring face painting by Rachel's Creations a Train for kids to ride, Hummer bounce house, petting zoo, kid’s crafts and games.

A few of your favorites from last year are back, only bigger and better!  Make sure to stop by the Brooks Place Tavern Garden for free samples, delicious craft beers and NEW bloody marys.  The Garden will also feature street side tavern games under a 40’-0” x 60’-0” shelter.  Conifer Community Church is back with their FREE family movie night Saturday night featuring Raiders of the Lost Ark.  Make sure to pick up your punch card and receive free popcorn for eating at one of our local participating restaurants!  The Foothill Flyer Disc Golf Club will be onsite with the Flyer 9 disc golf course.  Bring your discs or rent them from the club.

NEW this year we’re partnering with the Elk Creek Fire Rookies for their car wash fundraiser to raise funds for the Sean Renfro family.  The car wash will be set up in the Aspen Park RTD parking lot.  Drop off your car and come and enjoy the festivities!

As if all of this isn’t enough you won’t want to miss this year’s Treasure Hunt the week prior to Elevation Celebration.  Pick up your hunter’s kit at participating businesses and gather clues to help you locate a chest of fabulous treasure.  The final clue will be revealed Saturday, July 30th at Elevation Celebration.   Interested in playing with us?  We’re looking for businesses to help us distribute hunter kits and clues.  Contact Anjie Bates at Anjie@nancystaub.com for more information.
