The School of Rock has some great camps to keep you rocking this summer!

21st Century Rock and Roll Jukebox
6/17/2013 - 6/21/2013

A rockin' camp featuring songs from the last decade (more or less!). Great modern rock from bands such as the Black Keys, Green Day, Coldplay, the White Stripes, the Hives, the Killers, the Strokes, and more, more, more. This is a performance-based camp which will feature placement in a band setting, daily rehearsals and group instruction, and a fun end-of-camp concert open to the public. Open to players of all abilities, but basic competency on each instrument is recommended. Camp runs 9am-3pm, M-F, with a concert in the evening on the final day of camp (time TBA). 80's Rock and Roll Jukebox
7/8/2013 - 7/12/2013

Get your hair spray. Get your spandex. Get your eye-liner and get ready to party. The classic 80's music was all about fun, fun, fun. From the rockin-est of the rockin' (think Motley Crue, Guns n Roses, or Poison), to the goofiest of the goofy (think Cyndi Lauper or maybe Men at Work), to the post punk and New Wave hit machines like The Police and the Cars.

Led Zeppelin camp
7/22/2013 - 7/26/2013

No description of hard rock is complete without a thorough rundown of the music of Led Zeppelin. With a perfect combination of characters, personalities, marketing genius and outrageously skilled musicianship, Led Zeppelin took the world by storm and set the standard for all things ""heavy"" that have come ever since. If you wanna ROCK, and you can't play almost every Zeppelin tune, you're missing something important. Get the Led out at this camp.

70's Classic Rock Jukebox
8/5/2013 - 8/9/2013

Rock and Roll grew up, came into its own and really became a legitimate art form in the 70's. Classic Rock became ""classic"" in the 70's. And we'll pay tribute to some of the most rocking of all 70's artists during this camp, playing tunes from bands such as ZZ Top, Rush, Jethro Tull, Blue Oyster Cult, Boston, Cheap Trick, Deep Purple and may others.

90's Alternative Rock and Roll Jukebox
8/19/2013 - 8/23/2013

The 90's gave us the ""Grunge Greats"" – Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, etc. But the music of the 90's didn't end with grunge – add great, influential 90's Alternative tunes by bands such as the Breeders, the Pixies, Radiohead, Beck, and the Smashing Pumpkins and you're all set for a noise-fest Rock and Roll Summer Boot Camp of the highest order. This is a performance-based camp which will feature placement in a band setting, daily rehearsals and group instruction, and a fun end-of-camp concert open to the public. Open to players of all abilities, but basic competency on each instrument is recommended. Camp runs 9am-3pm, M-F, with a concert in the evening on the final day of camp.
