There is nothing like the feeling you get when helping others.  What precious a gift to give your young children than to teach them the meaning of giving to others in need.  We have this opportunity right now in our very own community.

While shopping for your own school supplies this year, have your child pick out a few extras that another child might need.  Many stores that you shop at will have a donation station right in their location, but here we have posted a few more places and events you can donate your extra supplies.

Belmar Shopping Center and Color Me Mine are teaming up with Radio Disney to fill 200 backpacks for the Boys & Girls Club!  You can drop off supplies 8/5 through 8/18 or come to the Radio Disney Event on 8/16!

Stuff For Students hosted by 9News is August 13 at the Walmart in Stapelton.  They also have blue barrels set up in select local Walmarts (Here for locations).

The Arapahoe House is in need of school supplies for over 221 children.

The Child Rescue Foundation of Denver is looking for community support (schools, faith groups, businesses) to collect school supplies for the 7th Annual Backpack and School Supply Drive.  Supplies will go to children in need all over the Denver area.

If you know of more local School Supply drives that need mentioning, please comment below or email me at [email protected]
