Still thinking of working from home?
Moms especially need flexibility. When it comes to children, nothing ever goes as planned. There are few careers that will offer you the flexibility that an independent consultant job will. You schedule your hours and decide how much time you want to invest into your business. You can work as little, or as much as you wish...it's really up to you! With no one looking over your shoulder, the pressure lies only on you.
However, it is important to keep in mind that none of the Work At Home opportunities we have listed in our Independent Consultant Guide are “get rich quick” schemes. As it is with most things, what you get out of the job will relate directly to what you put into it. So, revisit your goals, and think about how much time you will realistically need to put into your business so you can meet your goals - or rethink your goals to be more realistic based on the time you have available to invest.
