However, 20 lucky little Doc fans in our community didn't have to wait! Macaroni Kid Lakewood/Littleton hosted a special premier party at the Bemis Public Library where we had an exclusive screening of the very first episode of this upcoming season. We had lots of little girls, boys and their parents at the party, and everyone enjoyed the show!

Doc McStuffins is a great show because every episode teaches an important message. Doc is a toy doctor whose stethoscope magically turns her toys and stuffed animals to life so that she may properly diagnose and fix their ouches. Every episode will not only teach your child how to speak up about what is hurting, but the doctor needed to fix the ouch is nothing to be scared about. And more importantly, there are so many types of doctors out there that they can grow up and aspire to be!
I also love that Doc appeals to both genders. We had as many boys at our party as we did girls, and they all had a fantastic time!

After the screening, it was appointment time! Each child brought a favorite toy from home for a check-up and every child was equipt with a first aid kit. We also had a clinic set up so they could properly diagnose each toy and fix the boo-boos. I am happy to announce that every toy went home happy, healthy and on the mend!
We completed our day with amazing cupcakes from our favorite cupcake shop Gigi's Cupcakes of Littleton (and let me tell you, they were a HUGE HIT! Nothing left but crumbs)

And to the most generous mom, Cassy B. and her three kiddos, for supplying the surprise Doc goodie bags to all the children...what an unexpected and well loved treat!
