February 26th is "Tell a Fairy Tale Day"

Merriem-Webster.com defines a Fairy Tale as "a story (as for children) involving fantastic forces and beings (as fairies, wizards, and goblins) —called also fairy story".  And, "a story in which improbable events lead to a happy ending"

Walt Disney has been coloring our lives with them for years, making little princes and princesses out of all our babies.  The power in these tales lie not in the stories themselves, but in the minds of our young ones.  Their  imaginations are so vibrant when they are young, I can only hope to see it flourish as my daughter grows.

That is why on this "Tell a Fairy Tale Day" we will be talking about our own Fairy Tales.  If I were in a Fairy Tale, what would I be, what would my character look like?  Would I be a prince, a princess, would I be a wizard or a goblin.  Would I have magic powers?  What would those powers be?  Where would I live? What would I be wearing?  Who would I live and play with?

On February 26th, we will be living our day as if we were living in our own Fairy Tales.

Let all of our imaginations lead to a very happy ending!  Enjoy your "Tell a Fairy Tale Day"
