Our community can be found in the West area and will cover most of Lakewood. It does not reach past Hwy 285 so it will not cover much of the Littleton community. However, if you are searching to expand your playground and park adventures this summer, this book would be a great resource for you!
In the information section of the book, you will find the address, the size of the park, rating based on 0-5 stars, and park features. If the park includes a playground, you will find similar information with the addition of, year built or updated, surface (wood chips, sand, rubber, etc.), number of slides and swings, restrooms, toddler park, and any special features and accessibility.
At the back of the book, you will find photos of many of the most popular parks around the city with handy details at your fingertips. There is also an index so you can easily locate information on a specific park by name.
I can certainly see how handy this book will be this summer when meeting a friend across town for a picnic at an unexplored park.
