Looking for a great place for the kiddos to learn how to swim? Pirates Cove is offering swim lessons through July 27. Each session lasts two weeks and contains eight lessons. They are held before Pirates Cove opens at 10:00 AM, with a start time as early as 8:15 AM. Instructors teach children from six months to 14 years.
Registrations are accepted at the Englewood Recreation Center, online at www.englewoodgov.org, or you may drop off forms at Pirates Cove. Find additional information, including dates and times, on pages 14 and 35 of the Englewood Summer Activity Guide.
World’s Largest Swimming Lesson
Don’t miss the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson at Pirates Cove on June 22! Drowning remains the 2nd leading cause of unintended injury related death of children 1-14. Pirates Cove joins several other aquatic facilities around the world to help break the World Record.
