Create A Kiss Box: A Special Craft Filled With Love ๐Ÿ’‹

By Jamie Twarogowski, Former Macaroni Kid Lakewood/Littleton Publisher February 5, 2015

After sitting down together to read the book, The Kiss Box by Bonnie Verburg, Maia and I knew exactly what we would be making Daddy for Valentine's Day this year.  Maia's daddy travels for work, so this makes a perfect gift for her to fill with kisses before he leaves.  We decided to make two, so he can fill one up for her as well.  (She has already decided she will be to sleeping with hers).

Here's how we made ours...

What you will need:
Small gift boxes
Tissue paper - cut into small hearts or squares
School glue
Glitter
Water Based Sealer (Such as Modge Podge (R))

Step 1 - Using school glue, cover all surfaces of the box with tissue paper, both inside and out.  Allow to dry for 10 minutes.

Step 2 - Apply a thin coat of Modge Podge (R) to the inside of the box.  Sprinkle lightly with glitter (kisses).  Allow to dry for 15 minutes.

Step 3 - Apply Modge Pode (R) to the outside of the box. Then finish with an additional coat to the inside of the box. Allow to dry thoroughly.

๐Ÿ’‹ Fill with 100 kisses and give to your special Valentine.
