It’s almost time to go back to school and that means registration is now open for Fall Classes and the Fall Show for CYT Front Range! CYT offers a variety of classes in drama, voice, dance, and specialty areas. All of their classes enable students to gain valuable theater arts training, develop confidence, and make friends! Their teachers have been background checked and are qualified experts with a wealth of experience in their field. Additionally, CYT keeps their class sizes small to ensure personal attention and growth. At the end of a CYT session, students come away with improved skills in the area of emphasis. Each session ends with a high-energy showcase presented by each class to demonstrate what they learned. Classes are $200 and will be held on Tuesday nights at Jubilee Fellowship Church, located at 9830 Lone Tree Pkwy, Lone Tree, CO from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM. Classes start on Tuesday, August 15 and last for nine consecutive weeks, ending on October 10.
CYT is very excited to be producing Disney’s Alice In Wonderland, Jr. for their Fall Show this year! Tumble down the rabbit hole and join Alice, one of literature’s most beloved heroines, in her madcap adventures. Featuring updated songs from Disney’s thrilling animated motion picture, Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr. is a fast-paced take on the classic tale. Auditions will take place on Friday, August 18 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the CEM Sales Office, located at 3820 S. Federal Blvd., Sheridan, CO. Please bring a prepared song one minute in length as well as a track to accompany your audition. Please note you must be a participant in Fall Classes in order to sign up for auditions. Rehearsals will be held on Fridays from 4:30 PM - 8:30 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM at Waterstone Community Church, located at 5890 S. Alkire Street, Littleton, CO 80127, starting Friday, August 25 (Production Fee of $150 per child, due after rehearsals begin). There will be five performances at Hampden Hall at the Englewood Civic Center on October 20 – October 22.
