7th Annual Xcel Energy Day of Service

By By Mikele Burcaicea Ibrahim September 2, 2017

On Saturday, September 9th Xcel Energy invites you to join them along side CBS4 for a day of volunteering.  Over 70 nonprofit organizations will benefit from the help of more than 3,600 volunteers!  These organizations help make our state great and include Boys and Girls Club, Children’s museum and many of our parks.

There is a job for everyone!  Each project you can sign up for shows what ages are appropriate.  Projects include painting, planting shrubs, blanket making and even building picnic tables!

You may want to sign up as soon as possible.  Spots fill up quickly and if you want to bring the kids along make sure you look for those age appropriate projects.

Most projects run from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.  Each volunteer must sign up individually.  Their system does not accommodate family registrations.

So get out there and share in fun!  No matter what you do, your time and talent will make a difference.
