Looking for fun and interesting ways to celebrate Halloween this year? Learning Halloween signs was a fun activity for my family... all of us really enjoyed learning a new way to communicate.
We decided to take it a step further and learn the entire ASL alphabet. Check out the following videos to learn it, too!
Try these fun and simple signs with your family. Watch the video for demonstrations. Who can remember the most signs?
🎃 Halloween – Place both curved hands in front of your eyes (or in the “h” shape) and open them up.
🎃 Pumpkin – Flick your middle finger on the back of your closed fist 2 times.
🎃 Ghost/Spirit – Pinch both your index or middle finger and thumbs together on both hands. Move the upper hand upwards in a spiral.
🎃 Black Cat – Drag your index finger across your forehead, then pinch and stroke your "cat whiskers".
🎃 Witch – Take your letter X hand at your nose and bring it down to your other letter X hand.
🎃 Monster – Bring your hands in a shape of a claw at shoulder level and act like a monster.
🎃 Spider – Touch both hands at the wrist, one hand on top of the other and wiggle your fingers.
🎃 Candy – Point your index finger to your cheek and twist.
