Scratch Coding Summer Camps
The Scratch Coding Summer Camps teach students to code video games, animations, mBot Robots, and Micro:Bit controllers using the MIT-developed programming language called Scratch!
All students receive a Scratch book and Micro:Bit to take home!
Minecraft Adventure Summer Camps
During the Minecraft Adventure Summer Camps, students build a town and complete four epic quests on our exclusive and safe online server. These camps have an exciting storyline, animated videos, lovable characters, and fun locations for an unforgettable Minecraft experience!
All students receive a Minecraft Recipe book, ongoing access to the server and a special surprise!
Camp Details
- Camps run weekly from June 1, 2020, through July 31, 2020.
- Coding Camps are 8:30 AM–12:00 PM
- Minecraft Camps are 1:00 PM–4:30 PM
- Camps can be combined to create a full-day camp
- All camps take place at Sand Creek Elementary School in Highlands Ranch.

* To put the free camp giveaway toward a Minecraft Camp, the student must own the Java Edition of Minecraft for PC/Mac. An account can be purchased at Minecraft.net if needed.

RULES: This contest will run from Sunday, March 1, 2020 through Wednesday, March 11, 2020. One winner will be selected from all eligible entries on Thursday, March 12, 2020. Winner will be notified by email and phone and will have 48 hours to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed within 48 hours, an alternate winner will be chosen. You MUST be a subscriber to Macaroni Kid and 18 or older to enter. If you are not a subscriber and enter the contest, you will be automatically subscribed. This is a Macaroni Kid contest taking place across multiple Macaroni Kid newsletters throughout the South Denver Metro area.
