Celebrate Your Graduating Senior! ๐ŸŽ“

Submit Your Senior's Info for the 2020 MKLL Senior Yearbook!

My oldest graduated from high school last year. When I found out that schools were going to remain closed for the rest of this school year, my first thought was how sad it was for graduating seniors and their parents. I know all too well what they will be missing out on, and I know how brokenhearted I would have been if this had happened last year. No Senior Prom, no senior season of lacrosse, no band concerts or trips, and no graduation celebrations.

This will certainly be a memorable senior year, but not for the reasons it should be. I know that my friends who have graduating seniors this year are making the best of the situation. We are all enjoying extra family time, sleeping in a little later in the morning and staying up later at night. We love the opportunity this gives us to spend a little more (okay, a lot more) time together before our kids leaves for college, but hate what it is taking away from our kids and all the seniors this year.

SOOOOOO.... I want to do something about it, and what better way than to recognize our seniors in the best way I know how - this website! A yearbook of sorts for all the seniors in Lakewood and Littleton - high school or college! All you have to do is fill out the form to tell me about your senior and upload a photo, and I will do the rest. Will it fill the void of all they are missing? No, not even close. But I hope it brings smiles to the faces of friends and family members when they see their son, daughter, friend, grandchild, niece, nephew, or neighbor recognized in this small way.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CLASS OF 2020!
May this be the year when you not only learn how to weather a storm but also to dance in the rain! It's okay to grieve the things you'll be missing, but I hope you will also find ways to make some great memories!
