Hang on to your hats and secure all loose articles – the thrills are back at Colorado’s only combination theme & water park! Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park has been approved by City and State officials to open for the 2021 season with new health and safety guidelines. Elitch Gardens will open to Season Pass holders on April 24th and 25th and the public on May 1st. Reservations will be required.

Elitch Gardens is thrilled to bring back the family favorite Pre-K Pass. It’s FREE for kids three to five years old and includes unlimited visits to both the theme and water park for the entire 2021 season, including Fright Fest! While supplies last.
Getting your child’s Pre-K Pass is as easy as 1-2-3!
Step 1: Register
Register your child online for their free Pre-K Pass. Must register online by May 16. REGISTER NOW!

Step 2: Activate
After you register your child, print the e-ticket and bring them to the park to activate their pass. Be sure to bring your child and a valid birth certificate or passport that shows their age. The deadline to activate your Pre-K Pass is June 27, 2021.
Step 3: Play
After you’ve activated your child’s Pre-K Pass, they can visit for free anytime you’d like. Elitch Gardens is the perfect destination for family fun in 2021!
Things to Remember About the Pre-K Pass
- Parents have until May 16th to register their child online for the Pre-K Pass. REGISTER NOW!
- Parents must activate their child’s Pre-K Pass at the park by June 27th.
- Proof of age is required during your first visit. Copy of birth certificate or passport will be accepted.
- Qualifying children must be three to five years old by the activation deadline of June 27th.
- Children 2 and under are already free!
Do Pre-K Passes from 2020 extend into 2021?
Any currently registered 2020 Pre-K passes, including those by five-year-old kiddos who would have aged out of the program next season, will also be extended through the 2021 season. This is a one-time-only extension to those who have already registered for a 2020 Pre-K pass. Pre-K members will still need to activate their pass in 2021 by the activation deadline by showing valid proof of age.

Here at Elitch Gardens, we understand that it is a difficult and uncertain time for all. We want to bring the fun back in a big way in 2021. We also want you, our pass holders, to have peace of mind when purchasing your season pass. In the unlikely event the Park does not open at all for the 2021 season, your 2021 season pass will extend for the 2022 season.
Pass holders who experience a COVID-19 health-related change or concern, which prohibits them visiting the Park for the season, may also move unused passes to the 2022 season.
For those that have already purchased a 2020 Season Pass, your pass has been automatically transferred to the new 2021 VIP Season Pass. This special VIP pass will also extend to the 2022 season should the Park not open at all for the 2021 season.

Our new safety and sanitation protocols will be in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keep you and your family safe. This sanitation and suppression plan is designed to meet or exceed any and all guidelines set forth by the city and county of Denver, the state of Colorado, World Health Organization (“WHO”), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“OSHA”) and respected industry organizations such as the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), the World Waterpark Association (WWA), International Ride Training (IRT) and Jeff Ellis & Associates, Inc. (E&A) to assure the park is a safe place to be and have fun.
