Aspen Grove Shopping Center, Colorado's premiere fresh air shopping destination, is hosting their first ever ‘Mutt Market’, tailored specifically for the community’s furry friends.
The ‘paw-sitively’ unique market will take place on Saturday, July 10th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The Picnic Park at Aspen Grove, and feature dog-friendly vendors, selfie stations, onsite dog washes, and ice cream for pets and their parents.
The Humane Society of the South Platte Valley will be onsite with dogs that need a home as well. They will walk visitors through the adoption process and help pair them with a pup that is their perfect match.
As part of the Mutt Market activities, there will be an agility demonstration from Canine Stars (as seen on America’s Got Talent) and live music from JV3.
Additionally, Aspen Grove will kick off the annual Dog-Friendly Mascot Search featuring local pups in the Littleton community. Starting July 10th, Aspen Grove customers are invited to enter their lovable pooch in the contest for a chance to be the next mascot of the Shopping Center.
“The Aspen Grove Dog-Friendly Mascot is a long-standing tradition that we are proud to be apart of,” said Leslie Maisonneuve, Humane Society of the South Platte Valley Director. “We are honored to select this year’s winner and are especially excited to help kick off the competition at the first ever Mutt Market at Aspen Grove!”
The 2021 Aspen Grove Dog-Friendly Mascot winner will receive a private photo shoot, notoriety and images posted at the Center, prizes, complimentary goods and more! The Aspen Grove Dog-Friendly Mascot will also represent the Shopping Center at events throughout the year, be featured on the Aspen Grove Dog-Friendly decal in store windows and on posters throughout the Center.Voting will be open until July 23 the top 10 dogs based on quantity of votes will be entered intothe final selection round. The winner will be selected by the Humane Society of the South Platte Valley.
