As a busy mom, I look forward to my monthly nights out to the club... Sam's Club, that is!
Life is busy, we all know this and sometimes it is hard to make time to get together with family members. My youngest sister and I found a solution to not always having time to hang out and catch up by making a trip to Sam's Club a monthly standing night out for us! We actually have a lot of fun together just talking and catching up about life, shopping the middle aisles of household, outdoor and fashion items, and of course, picking out our grocery and household bulk items! We even usually grab a sushi tray to incorporate a sushi dinner date into our night out.
This month, we did an extra large shop as I had added all my kiddos' back-to-school items to my shopping list and I was pleasantly surprised by all the great options Sam's Club had. I wasn't planning on picking up their new book bags and lunch boxes here, but they had adorable prints, patterns, quality, and pricing (as always) that I couldn't resist!
When I was making my list for this special back-to-school edition of my monthly Sam's Club shop, I wanted to consider some extra things we may need to transition from summer to school. In addition to some great value quick dinners, snacks, and lunch box items, I picked up a variety pack of at home ice cream treats. If your family is anything like my family, a big part of summer vacation is trips to the local ice cream shops after dinner, multiple times a week. As I know our schedules will be super busy again during the school year and we will have to cut back on these ice cream outings, having some special treat options at home may help the transition back toschool.
I also picked up a few cute outfits for the girls, some pens and post it notes from their school supply lists, and a couple of great workbooks to brush up on our skills before we are back in the classroom. In addition, I grabbed a big case of our favorite Members Mark coffee and a cute pair of sweats to prep for the morning school run!
Personally, I've been a Sam's Club shopper for years. I love the cost and time savings that buying in bulk provides my family. Instead of having to do a big weekly shop, I am able to buy in bulk and shop less frequently. Sam's Club has a great selection of pantry items, as well as fresh and frozen foods. Their organic selection has grown massively over the last couple of years and I love picking up some of these great items.
I love so many of the Members Mark™ (Sam's Club brand) products because of their amazing quality and prices. One of my all-time favorite products, that I've recommended to lots of friends, is the Members Mark™ Toilet Tissue! We all know toilet paper was a hot topic in 2020 and I felt so thankful this was one of the many staple items I always buy in bulk at Sam's Club. I had plenty to go around when there was a shortage! Besides the bulk savings on this toilet paper, it really is my family's preferred paper. It is is soft and durable, but not a MEGA roll that doesn't actually fit on the toilet paper holder! Top Shopper Tip, if you are planning to pick up this awesome toilet tissue and their awesome quality select-a-size paper towels, you may want to consider an extra cart or even one of the utility style carts so you can fit more of these large items!
During this photoshoot I was offered a job by a friendly employee, as I was doing such a nice job stacking the TP for this picture!
My sister and I genuinely enjoy our meet-ups at the club! You never know what awesome household or seasonal items you will find. From throw pillows and area rugs to camping gear; Sam's Club really has it all. For busy families, a Sam's Club membership is always a good idea, but for a limited time you can get even better value as they are offering a promotion for new members: Join for $45, get a $45 eGift Card. I would definitely recommend taking advantage of this awesome membership offer and enjoying a night out at the club! Just make sure you have room in your car for all your amazing bulk buys!
