We have been closely following the Boulder County Wildfires here at Macaroni KID Lakewood-LIttleton, and our hearts break for our neighbors who have been impacted. Some of our own Mac Family members have been affected. Many of you want to help. The following is a list of resources shared by Governor Polis for those needing assistance, and those who would like to offer their help.

Evacuation Centers

Space Heaters from Xcel

  • Xcel will provide space heaters to affected customers in Superior and Louisville. To pick up a space heater, please stop by the Red Cross shelter at YMCA in Lafayette at 2800 Dagny Way. They are also working closely to restore services to any houses not damaged or destroyed by fire.

Donations To Those Impacted

Boulder Office of Emergency Management

  • If you have shelter to offer displaced residents, please sign up to be a vetted host at and you will be alerted through the Airbnb Open Homes Program if needed.
  • Encouraging household items be donated to local thrift stores.

Fill out this form to offer donations of goods and/or services to those impacted. Please DO NOT bring items to any shelters, police or fire station, etc.
