Founded in 2006, Aerial Cirque Over Denver was the first major circus school in Denver. Boasting more than 4,000 square feet and two separate studio spaces, the aerial arts gym is the largest training facility in the Denver metropolitan area! We have also been recognized by both Westword and 303 Magazine as one of the top unique fitness studios in Denver.
SAFETY IS OUR TOP PRIORITY
Safety is a priority at our aerial arts gym. Students learn in a progressive manner with our session-based classes. Also, our instructors are all certified and students practice with high rating crash mats under every apparatus.
CLASSES AND SUMMER CAMPS
At ACOD, classes are separated by age and level (beginner to advanced). Classes are specific to tots (ages 3 to 5), youth (ages 6 to 8), pre-teen (ages 9 to 12), teen (ages 13 to 17), and adult students, and taught in a progressive manner for ideal learning. Finally, we offer non-trick based classes including aerial yoga (anti-gravity yoga) and aerial Pilates.
We specialize in technique based aerial dance including classes and camps in:
- aerial silk (aerial fabric)
- dance trapeze
- aerial lyra (hoop)
- sling (aerial hammock)
- rope
- unique apparatuses like cube and cloud swing
- PLUS, we are the only aerial arts gym in Denver offering cyr wheel!
PARTIES
Make your child’s birthday special with an aerial dance birthday party! ACOD is the place where circus party dreams come true!
We offer aerial dance birthday parties, bachelorette parties, and private groups, such as school intensives and team building events. Parties include an hour and a half of aerial fun plus time for cake/presents. Your guests will get a private aerial lesson including professional instruction on aerial silks and trapeze! Cake and presents can both be done in the studio as well. Rates depend on the number of guests, so please email us for a custom quote.

PROFESSIONAL ENTERTAINMENT
In addition to recreational classes, we offer professional entertainment. As a pioneer in the Colorado aerial community, we have a strong performance-based team. ACOD Entertainment performs nationally, catering to events such as corporate parties, weddings, and festivals. Some of our past clients include DIA, Vail Resorts, Budweiser, and String Cheese Incident! We offer custom performances including aerialists, contortionists, stilt walkers, fire dancers, and Colorado’s only mobile ice shows on synthetic ice!

Our Denver circus studio is conveniently located right off I-70 and Quebec in the Stapleton Business Plaza. Looking for something to do while your kiddo is taking class? ACOD is less than a 5 minute drive from The Shops at Northfield Stapleton and Quebec Square. We are less than a 10 minute drive from the Rocky Mountain Wildlife Refuge, Central Park, City Park, and East 29th Ave Town Center.
