Let's talk ice cream. Not only is National Ice Cream Day on July 17th, July is National Ice Cream Month, after all.
My family is ice cream obsessed, and for good reason. Not only is it a delicious treat, it is pretty darn versatile.
- As you probably know, my daughter has Celiac Disease, so ice cream is often a go to for her.
- Hitting an ice cream shop is a fun and tasty field trip.
- You can make your own ice cream in as little as 15 minutes!
- Ice cream is like a blank canvas... you can add anything to it to change it up.
- It can be enjoyed in many forms... cone, cake, shaved, curled, in a shake, in a sandwich, topped, mixed, soft, churned, and so many more ways!
- Ice cream is a year round treat (but there's nothing like a summer ice cream run!).
- Getting your tonsils out? Ice cream. Sore throat? Ice cream. Teeth pulled? Ice cream.
Do you think you can tell a person's personality by their favorite ice cream flavor? I'm not sure that I believe that, but it's pretty spot on for my family.
My hubs is a plain vanilla.
My younger son is a mint chocolate chip.
My daughter is a green tea matcha.
My older son never picks a favorite. (Classic for him...lol)
I am a chocolate peanut butter all the way.
