Have you ever dreamed of racing a police car?

Not something you'd normally be able to do, right? WRONG!

Come to Bandimere Speedway this summer to satisfy your need for speed at Take it to the Track, where you can race your own vehicle against Colorado State Patrol officers. Created 17 years ago to help curb street racing, Take it to the Track offers a safe, once in a lifetime opportunity to everyone 16 and up with a valid driver's license, no matter what your skill level.

The process is easy!

  • Starting at 4:00pm, racers can line up and purchase a 'tech card' or entry for their vehicle. Buy yours online!
  • Racers find a spot in Bandimere Speedway's pit area.
  • Racers participate in a simple technical inspection process with the Bandimere staff. Check out the racer handbook here.
  • Racers can take as many runs as they'd like!

Take it to the Track nights are perfect for spectators, too! Bandimere Speedway and the Colorado State Patrol hope to see lots of the community members and families out at the track this summer, especially with Bandimere Speedway closing its doors at the end of the season.
