Hey Mac Families,
I love writing my Note From Your Publisher each week. I genuinely do.
It gives me the chance to reach out to you in a very candid way, writing exactly how I speak, not really worrying too much about being proper and professional. I get to look back on my stories with fondness as I recall what was going on in my life at the time that I wrote them.
But this summer has been a challenge to write the stories. Why?
Maybe it is because this summer has been a bit of a challenge in itself. We've dealt with a big move, technical difficulties, injuries, medical procedures, car issues, pressing to dos, big emotions, and so much more. One urgent and busy episode on top of another, really. It feels like when we put one fire out, another pops up.
It's been, as they say, a lot.
(That's not to say that we haven't had lots of good times this summer, because we absolutely have!)
So, why have I struggled with my Note From Your Publisher?
Welp.... it appears that I have a big old case of writers' block. I can't come up with things to write about!
Usually, I would turn to my ace in the hole -- list. But I can't even think of any lists to write.
So, I'm turning to you! Would you take a minute and shoot me a question or give me a topic that you would like me to write about? I know that there are lots of things you may be curious about, things you think would be funny, things you want to hear my opinion about. Well, here's your chance.
