Free Pride Events in the Denver Metro Area

The Denver Metro definitely knows how to celebrate Pride Month, and this 50th anniversary year is no different. This means that whether you identify as LGBTQIA+ or you are an ally, you will have lots of opportunities to celebrate this June!


Pride Clothing Swap

Belmar Library | 555 S. Allison Parkway, Lakewood
June 8 | 1pm to 4pm

No ticket required.

It's Pride Month — a time for the LGBTQ+ community to unite in celebration. In this spirit, the Belmar Library invites you to our second annual Pride Clothing Swap.

Make someone’s dreams come true by donating clean new and gently used clothing, shoes, and other accessories to the Belmar location. Not only will you clear out some space in your closet, but you'll also help someone else become a more authentic self.


Show Your Pride Dance Party

Drag Queen Storytime with LeeLee James

Smiley Branch Library | 4501 W. 46th Avenue, Denver

No ticket required.

Celebrate Pride Month with stories, songs, rhymes and fun for babies and children of all ages and their parents or caregivers, presented by Drag Queen LeeLee James. Storytime will be outside, so bring a blanket to sit on. In the event of inclement weather, storytime will be moved indoors.


Mile High 2 Spirit Pride Extravaganza
Four Winds American Indian Council | 205 West 5th Avenue, Denver

Join us for an Arts and Crafts sale along with an Indian Taco Fundraiser. The evening will be capped off with an Indigenous cast, family-friendly drag show! Come shop local native vendors, enjoy authentic Native American food and stay for the drag show. The drag show is slated to start at 6:00 PM and will run until 8:30 PM and run until 8:30pm. All 2 Spirit youth and families are invited come and enjoy. Let’s kick off Pride Week in Denver with an event supporting our 2 Spirit Indigenous relatives!


The Arvada Center and Jefferson County Public Library present: Kaleidoscope

A unique blend of original music, poetry, and improvisation. This collaborative concert weaves compelling poetry from the heart of our community with extraordinary tunes and harmonies, exploring shifting perspectives on gender and inviting audiences to an experience of shared discovery.


Family Fun Days: Celebrate Pride!

Girl Scout Dream Lab | 63 North Quebec Street, Denver

Show off your pride at this family-friendly and kid-focused event! Bring your friends and family to enjoy games, crafts and more. Activities will include tie-dying a pride handkerchief, making a pride keychain, and learning about historical pride figures with bingo. Family Fun Days are free and open to anyone in the community. You don’t have to be a Girl Scout, or a girl, to attend! 


Rainbow Fan Craft

Celebrate Pride and love who you are with a fun fan craft! Ideal for ages 2-16, youth will be able to make their own paper plate fan and decorate it with markers, paint, stickers, and gemstones.

MHFB Swing closes out their portion of our 40th anniversary Ruby Season with our traditional concert in the park – A Midsummer Night’s Jazz. Bring your snacks, picnic blanket, and the whole family for a concert out on the lawn of City Park as the sun sets on the lake.

Melodies of Pride

MHFB Winds and Strings close out their portion of our 40th anniversary Ruby Season with our 13th annual concert in the park – Melodies of Pride. Lay out on the lawn as we perform musical highlights of the season!

Explore a variety of activities and hang out with friends at the library after hours, where the fun never stops once the doors close for the day. This program is for those aged 12-18.


Denver PrideFest 50th Anniversary

Commemorate our 50th anniversary through the ultimate celebration of love, diversity, and equality. The iconic two-day Denver PrideFest event at Civic Center Park boasts 250+ exhibitors, 30 food vendors, and captivating live performances. This spectacular two-day festival unites communities from across Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region, bringing in an estimated attendance of over 550,000 people in 2023.

Coors Light Denver Pride Parade

Colfax Ave & Franklin headed West, ending near Civic Center Park

Attending the parade is FREE! We encourage you to find your place along the route early, as 100,000+ people are expected to line the streets of this year parade as they take in the sights and sounds, as we come together to celebrate the Rocky Mountain queer community.


Pride Paint and Sip (for all ages!)
