RTD for Zero Fare for Youth Program Now Permanent

No cost fare program for customers ages 19 and under

September 6, 2024

The Regional Transportation District (RTD)’s Board of Directors approved continuing the Zero Fare for Youth program beyond the agency’s one-year pilot. The program, which enables youth ages 19 and under to use all RTD services at no cost, will now become a permanent fare change for the agency. Youth ages 19 and under just need to present a valid student or government-issued ID. A full list of acceptable ID options can be found on the Zero Fare for Youth webpage.
