A Note From Your Publisher: The one about camping 📝

Hey Mac Families,

Camping. I have a love/hate relationship with it.

In true Christen fashion, I decided to write a list of my Loves and my Hates. Do you agree with my assessments?

WHY I LOVE CAMPING

  • The beauty.
  • Watching my kids have fun.
  • Relaxing (for maybe 10 minutes, let's be real).
  • The wildlife.
  • Roasting marshmallows.
  • Sunrises and sunsets.
  • Immersing yourselves in nature.
  • Hotdogs made over the fire.

WHY I HATE CAMPING

  • The bugs.
  • The dirt.
  • The heat... or any other weather, for that matter.
  • The dangers, especially when my kids were little. Or big enough to get into trouble. So, yeah, I guess the dangers at all ages.
  • The clean up.
  • Drying out the tent and sleeping bags.
  • The hauling of all the stuff.
  • No bathrooms.
  • Keeping the food cold/safe.
  • Sunscreen.

Is camping with the kids a hassle? Yes.

Is it worth all of that hassle? Absolutely YES.

Take the trip. You won't regret it.

Peace ☮️, Love ❤️, & Macaroni 🌼,

Christen
