You’re Invited: Arvada Police Department Parent Academy Event

No-cost educational event designed for parents/guardians of Jeffco middle and HS students

October 24, 2025

In the aftermath of the tragic events on September 10 at Evergreen High School, Student Safety, Our Shared Responsibility – a shared mission of staff, students, families and the community to enhance student safety within Jeffco – is more important than ever.

In partnership with the Arvada Police Department, we are pleased to invite you to a two-part Parent Academy designed specifically for parents and guardians of middle and high school students in Jeffco.

As students navigate the complex challenges of adolescence, this academy will provide you with the tools to prevent, identify and respond to issues related to mental health, substance abuse, relationships and online behavior.
