Know Before You Go

  • NO CANOPY TENTS OR LARGE PICNIC UMBRELLAS – if it can be staked into the ground, it is not allowed
    • Small, personal shade devices like handheld umbrellas and small umbrellas that attach on a lawn chairs are allowed.
  • NO PETS, please leave them at home for their safety and sanity
  • No personal fireworks, No portable grills, No glass bottles
  • Due to space constraints, no parking of oversized vehicles like RV’s.  Additionally, no parking will be allowed on the frontage road in Clement Park on July 1.
  • No littering – Please use trash receptacles or carry your trash out
  • No marijuana – Public consumption of marijuana is prohibited by Colorado State Law
  • Red, White & You is a No Drone Zone – remote control devices are not permitted in Clement Park

Info, Tips & Schedule

  • Admission is free.
  • Bring a lawn chair or blanket.
  • Bring sunscreen, bug spray, water and small flashlight to use post-event.
  • Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for lots of walking.
  • Food and beverages are available for purchase.
  • Kids Zone Area features: ticketed bounce houses, free entertainment, food vendors, restrooms and fireworks viewing.
  • 5 p.m. Event Starts!  All Open – Community & Sponsor Booths, Kids Zone Area, Beer & Wine Gardens, and Food Vendors.
  • 5 p.m. until dusk Kids Zone Attractionson lower soccer field
    • Enjoy kids attractions until they close, then stay in place for fireworks viewing.
    • Attractions include:
      • Ticketed bounce houses, restrooms, and plenty of space for fireworks viewing.
      • Colorado Avalanche Game On Street Hockey is a free street hockey initiative to promote & grow the game of hockey throughout Colorado. All participants are eligible to receive a FREE Avalanche branded street hockey stick and ball*. Participants will have opportunities to play inside the inflatable rink or shoot at the Avalanche shooting target. The Colorado Avalanche Amateur Hockey Development staff will be on site to help participants with the basic fundamentals of the game!
  • 7 p.m. – Free Concert featuring Wash Park BandAmphitheater
    • It’s time to party when Wash Park goes into high gear with three dynamic vocalists, a full four piece horn section, and a five piece rhythm section to deliver an experience like no other. What sets this band apart is its powerful and faithful reproductions of the horn band era dance music from the 70’s to the top 40 hits of today.
  • 9:30 p.m. – Fireworks Displaysouth of the Amphitheater
    • Please note that the firework fallout zone will be marked and fenced. It is very important to stay out of the firework fallout area.
    • Fireworks viewing can be achieved anywhere in the park.
    • The fireworks display is weather and fire-ban dependent.
  • 9:45 p.m. – Band Encore, Wash Park BandAmphitheater
  • 10 p.m. Event Ends
  • Restrooms: Port-o-Lets will be located throughout the event area including the Kids Zone Area.
  • Lost & Found -and- First Aid: Located at the Foothills Park & Recreation District Tent (near the large playground).
  • No Parking will be allowed on the frontage road in Clement Park on July 1.

Parking Information • Dropping Off • Picking Up

  • Parking is limited, carpooling or ride-share is highly recommended.
  • Parking options available in:
    • Clement Park
      • Handicap ONLY parking lots available, utilize the Long Drive entrance to park.
      • Patron parking available in lots on the east side of the park, utilize the Pierce Street entrance.
    • Columbine High School
    • Southwest Plaza Mall – specified location only, View Map
  • When Clement Park parking lots are full, entrances into the park will be closed to vehicles (lots typically will fill up between 6-7 p.m.)
  • Vehicles are only allowed on designated roads and to park in designated lots.
  • Do NOT park at the Columbine Library.
  • No Parking will be allowed on the frontage road in Clement Park on July 1.
  • Due to space constraints, oversized vehicles like RV’s are asked not to park in Clement Park for this event.
  • No overnight parking or camping.
  • If you drop off anyone in the park for the event, you will NOT be able to drive back into the park until 11 p.m. Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office priority is to safely clear traffic out of Clement Park immediately following the end of the event.
  • No shuttle services provided.
