A Note From Your Publisher: The one about our summer camp guide 📝

By Christen Reiner, Macaroni KID Lakewood-Littleton & Macaroni KID Denver Editor and Publisher March 16, 2024

Hey Mac Families,

Let's talk about summer camps!

Have you checked out our Summer Camp Guide, sponsored by the awesome Space Voyage, yet? The variety of summer camps available to our kids never ceases to amaze me. If you haven't decided on a summer camp for your kiddos, now is the time.

My favorite things about Summer Camp:

  • Trying something new.... summer camp is the perfect way to test the waters on activities that your kiddo thinks that they may be into. One day or one week, and they are done. If they love it, woohoo! If they hate it, there's an end in sight.
  • Exhausting your kids.... inevitably, your kids will be tired after summer camp each day. But, it's the good kind of tired where you know that their day was fill will fun.
  • Squashing the I'm Boreds.... you know the ones. If we are not actively entertaining our kids in the summer, there is a really good chance that they will let you know just how bored they are. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge believer in teaching your kids to entertain themselves, but let's be real. It's just not gonna happen every day.
  • Meeting new people.... most of our children go to school with the same people for years and years. Not that it is a bad thing to have great and familiar friends, but it's also nice to branch out a bit.
  • Excited kids.... everyone gets excited when they get to do something they enjoy. I love when my kids get excited about going to camp, when they share their day with us, and when they find something they want to do again.

Plus, if I'm being honest (and you know I am), it gives me a break to do some of things that I enjoy.

So, get ready! Camps are filling up quickly this year. Check out our Summer Camp Guide now!

Peace ☮️, Love ❤️, & Macaroni 🌼,
